Capabilities
- Physical Assessment and Medication Administration
- Children are best served when their daily schedules match that of their peers, and
impacts due to medication therapy can be minimized when administered by our nursing staff.
Monitoring physical condition or professional medication administration, performed
by our professional nursing staff, lessens the child's emotional stress during the event.
Our nurses establish a trusting relationship with the child, thus reducing
anxieties children tend to suffer during medical treatment.
-
- High-tech Medical Treatment and Support
- Some pediatric conditions require numerous scheduled treatment sessions. In order
to mainstream the child's lifestyle, our nurses are qualified on many instruments used in
medical treatment, such as inhalation therapy for asthma. Our nurses maintain the
required schedule, while reducing the impact to the child's daily routine. Our
treatment programs are geared toward minimum impact, while maintaining maximum support for
our pediatric patients in their school's environment.
-
- Physical and Speech Therapy Services
- Action Home Nursing Services maintains a skilled nursing staff, with
specialties available in many treatment plans. Our on-site school treatment plans
also include both physical and speech therapies. We administer needed therapeutic
sessions based on the child's schedule, and we work closely with the school's staff in
providing consistent educational practices while keeping classroom impacts to a minimum.
Our physical therapy sessions are performed with a close relationship with the
child's doctor, to best implement the physician's recovery plan.
